Your data belongs to you. Here is exactly how to delete it, what gets removed, and what we are legally required to keep.

Use the CemList contact page to request deletion of an account or personal information. Include the email address associated with the account so we can identify the request.
CemList may need to verify that you control the account before processing a request. Do not send sensitive documents unless CemList specifically asks for them through an appropriate channel.
A deletion request may include account profile information, contact details, and information submitted through CemList features, subject to the limits described below.
CemList will review whether listings, photos, or directory submissions connected to an account should be removed, corrected, anonymized, or retained for recordkeeping. Cemetery-owned records may require separate confirmation from the cemetery.
Some information may need to be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or accounting.
Deleting information from CemList does not automatically remove information held by independent services or cemetery offices. Requests to those organizations must be made directly to them.

CemList will process deletion requests as promptly as possible. Complex requests, or those requiring identity verification, may take additional time.
