These Terms are a Cemlist-specific working draft for this frontend test. They must be reviewed and replaced with legally approved terms before Cemlist is offered to the public.
Cemlist provides cemetery directory information and a place for users to publish and discover cemetery plot listings. Information on Cemlist may change and should be confirmed with the cemetery office before you act on it.
Cemlist does not sell cemetery property, transfer deeds, or approve ownership changes. The cemetery or other authorized record keeper determines whether a transfer is permitted and completes its required process.
Keep your account and listing information accurate. Only publish a listing when you have authority to offer the plot and can provide the cemetery information a buyer needs to verify the transfer process.
Do not use Cemlist for fraud, impersonation, harassment, unlawful activity, or misleading listings. Do not publish personal information that you are not allowed to share.
Cemlist may review, correct, pause, or remove content that appears inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for confirming the cemetery rules, ownership records, eligibility requirements, transfer fees, and paperwork directly with the cemetery. Never send money to a seller before the cemetery confirms in writing that it will record the transfer.
A listing or message on Cemlist does not create a contract with Cemlist. Any transaction is between the parties involved and remains subject to the cemetery requirements and applicable law.
You retain rights in content you submit. You give Cemlist permission to host, display, and use that content only as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service.
The Cemlist name, design, software, and other platform materials belong to Cemlist or its licensors. Do not copy or misuse them without permission.
Cemlist does not provide legal, financial, tax, estate-planning, or cemetery-administration advice. Consult the cemetery and qualified professionals for advice about a specific transfer or estate.
Cemlist is provided as available. We do not guarantee that every listing, directory record, or feature is complete, current, or continuously available.
